Download Instructions/Problems

Please read this first: I'm just a one-man operation, so I've created this page to help you solve any downloading issues that may arise. (Your downloading experience should go well, but just in case...) If these steps don't solve your issue, send me an e-mail at rich@pastimeradio.com, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible (usually within one business day).

How to start the download:

Click the "Buy Now" button on the front page of the website. You will then be taken to a page that looks like this:

Then, after you enter your payment information, you'll see this box pop up:

Then, you might see this screen:

Finally, you'll be at the download page!

After you've clicked there, a box will pop up. If you're using Internet Explorer as your web browser, it will probably look like this:

And if you're using Firefox as your web browser, the box might look like this:

After you select "Save" on Internet Explorer, or "Save File" and "OK" on Firefox, the file will download. If you can't find it after it downloads, see the next section, "Common Download Problems."

Common Download Problems

The most-common problem is this: someone downloads the game, and then can't find it on their computer. If this happens, it's either because your computer stuck it in a folder you're unaware of, or you clicked "Open" instead of "Save" during the downloading process.

FIRST, TRY THIS:

FIND THE FILE: Click on the "Start" button at the lower left of your screen, then go to your "Search" box. Type in "pastime," and hit enter (note that "pastime" only has one "T"). If the game has been downloaded successfully onto your system, the file "PastimeRadioG31947WS.mp3" (and its location) should pop up on your screen within a few seconds. Look at the folder to see where it is located. Then double-click on the file and it should open.

IF THAT DOESN'T WORK, DO THIS:

DOWNLOAD AGAIN AND CLICK "SAVE": If the "Search" comes up empty, that means the game is likely not on your system… which means you probably clicked "Open" instead of "Save" during the downloading process. You'll need to download the game again. (Don't worry… you won't have to pay again. Payloadz.com, my download provider, allows you a few tries at this.)

Go back to the e-mail you received when you purchased the download. The e-mail will be from rich@pastimeradio.com, and the title will be, "Order Info --- PastimeRadio.com."

In the e-mail, go down to where it says, "Download Link," and click the link.

When it opens, click the download file to download it again. And when prompted, be sure to click "Save," and not "Open." Like this:

Now, since you clicked "Save," it should have saved on your hard drive. If you still can't find it, go back to "Find the File" above and try the search.

If you've tried all these things, and still nothing works, then send me an e-mail at rich@pastimeradio.com. I'll get back to you as soon as I can (again, I'm a one-man operation) and we'll make it right!
